I have know Larry 40 or so years. We first met as machinist apprentices at then Va,Pilot/ Ledger Star on Brambleton ave. Norfolk, Va. We were learning the printer trade as machinists. I have many fond memories of that period and we worked many extra hours supporting our families. I guess for many of those years we spent more time together with our own families. It was hot and dirty work. They then sent us to ODC for training electronics. It was long hours for all of us. In those times you really get close and formed close friendships. We were many times a rowdy bunch with comradery. Larry and I had some moments of competition. He was a great person and a great friend. I called him in the past year some and he told me how seriously ill he was. What a heart break for a fine person. He said he knew the Lord. We all have to face Jesus some day I am glad He had that personal relationship. Larry you will be missed, Jesus now has a new saint Larry Blett.
