Levi Willis Obituary
Bishop Willis served as Pastor of Garden of Prayer Worship Center- The Gateway to Good News and as Jurisdictional Prelate of the Virginia Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Judith Washington Willis; three children, Jasper M. Willis (LaTonya), Jonathan G. Willis Sr. (Felicia), and Tiffani J. Willis; 8 grandchildren; three sisters, Hortense E. Willis, Christine L. Willis, and Celestine Willis-Brown (Clyde); sister-in-law, Yvonne Hawkins (Lawrence); a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, saints, and friends.
The Public Viewing will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Chapel. The Local and Jurisdictional Homegoing Celebration will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 7:00 PM; The National Homegoing Celebration will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM. All services will be held at Garden of Prayer Worship Center, 1001 Church Street, Norfolk, VA 23510. Professional services are entrusted to Metropolitan Funeral Service.
