Linda Krull

Linda M. Krull NORFOLK - Linda M. Krull, 68, died peacefully in her home from pancreatic cancer April 22, 2009. She was the loving daughter of Emma Lee Benson and Frank O. Benson Sr., who resided in the Ingleside Section of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by both parents and her youngest daughter, Donna Marie Merritt. Known as the "Angel Lady" to many, Linda was an artist, gardener and worked as an interior designer at Willis Wayside in Virginia Beach. A woman who never met a stranger, she was a loving mother of three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She considered many she loved as extended family. Love and beauty were her true pursuits in life. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Frank O. Benson Jr. and Gloria Benson; nephew, Frank C. Benson; daughter, Denise Large and her husband Robert Large. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David L. Merritt and Jennifer Merritt; grandchildren, Sarah Kilcrease, Tyler Lominac, Archer Merritt, Ian Merritt and Emanuel Merritt; and great-grandson, Blake Kilcrease. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Squires Memorial Presbyterian Church officiated by Dr. Craig Wansick and a reception will be held in the church social hall immediately following. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to erect a memorial garden at Spring Lake Farm in Linda's memory: Spring Lake Farm, 1051 Spring Lake Farm Road, Moneta, VA 24121.
