Loren D. Dexheimer VIRGINIA BEACH - Loren Dru Dexheimer, 25, fought a brave battle against cancer, yet as strong as she was, lost the fight Jan. 19, 2009. She was born Oct. 27, 1983, in Norfolk. She is survived by her mom, Terrie Wright; her dad and stepmother, Randy and Trudy Dexheimer; her siblings, Niki Rockson, Ryan Restin and Alli Dexheimer and brother-in-law Chris Rockson; her grandparents, Lucile and Jack Dexheimer; her aunts, uncles and cousins; her nephew, JoJo; and many friends. She was a feisty, beautiful, independent young woman who was taken from our lives much too soon and will be greatly missed. A remembrance service will be held Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. in Shifting Sands at Dam Neck Naval Base. Arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Terrie & Nikki - Gosh what to say, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I never even knew Loren was sick. I remember the last time we were all together it's been a while. To the Family of Loren,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Loren. I would always visit Loren on Sunday afternoons at Chili's. We would talk about so many different things. She was such a sweet, vibrant person who always brought a smile to my face.
She was a strong woman and always looked at the silver lining around a gray cloud.
Loren will always remain in our hearts and in our minds. She will be missed and will always be remembered with fond memories.
