Dear Lyd,

It was a pleasure knowing you. Too bad we didn't have more time to get to know one another better. I enjoyed our time at your family reunions talking about your dance partner & all the times you did go dancing. My heart goes out to your family in their time of grief.

Sincerely,
Grace LoRicco

I SHALL MISS LYD SO MUCH. I CHERISH THE VISIT I HAD WITH HER LAST YEAR. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. IT WAS LIKE OLE TIME AS KIDS. WE BOTH HAD LOST OUR SWEETHEARTS AND WERE MAKING IT WITHOUT THEM WITH GOD'S HELP.LYD WOULD CALL ME ABOUT EVERY WEEK. SHE SAID THAT SHE WORRIED ABOUT ME. I TOLD HER THAT GOD WAS TAKING CARE OF ME AND HE WOULD HER ALSO. SHE SAW FUNNY THINGS IN EVERTHING .EVEN IN SERIOUS THINGS. SHE WAS SO UNIQUE.THANK GOD FOR HER AND WHAT SHE GAVE TO ALL OF US. WE SHALL MISS HER SO MUCH. GOD BLESS HER MEMORY. SEE YOU SOON ,LYD.

Peggy, Jane and Bun I Grieve with you for the terrible loss of your sister Lydia. Your relationships as sisters were full of precious memories which I know will be with you always. Whenever you think of them I am certain that Lydia will hear you and continue to laugh with you. May God be with you during this very sad time while you think of all that music and dancing going on in Heaven. God Bless you wonderful people.

As with Peg, us oldsters called her Lyd. We went our separate ways after the war (ww11) and lost all contact until the death of her equally lovely sister, Doris. As kids, when our families would get together, we had joyful and memorable times. May God continue to bless and be with us all.

Kandi and Marty,
We were deeply saddened to learn of Lyd's passing. She was a terrific person, and we always enjoyed seeing her. Bill fondly remembers her and Gordon's wonderful hospitality when he was a kid growing up in Virginia and when he was in the Navy visiting the Virginia Beach area. We will miss her terribly, but she is in a better place now. Lyd couldn't have asked for better children to love and care for her.

Marty and Kandi,
I am so sorry that I am unable to attend the memorial for Lydia, (as you know I always called her Lyd.) I will be thinking of you and crying with you while I am remembering 80 years of memories. Lyd always made me laugh more than anyone I have ever known. We shared secrets as little girls, laughed and cried through our dating years. We were maid /maiden of honor at each others wedding. We always shared pictures and the accomplishments of our children. I will miss the fun we used to have planning the reunions. I have especially enjoyed our almost daily chats these last years. Who will I talk to now about our music? I will miss you, my sister, so much.

So sorry to hear of her passing. I am sure she is happy to be back with her dance partner Gordon. And I know her dance card is full and Mick's Big Band is providing the music. The Newtons are having one heck of a party in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Marty & Kathy,
I regret to learn of your mom's passing. Needless to say, Lydia is with her Lord now and resting in peace. We know that death for His saints is simply a time of transition. We have so much to look forward to. May you find comfort in realizing that "Mom" is truly enjoying her eternal inheritance. You are certainly in Susie and my thoughts and prayers.
Blessings, Hank (for Susie)
