Mabel Hart Obituary
Norfolk - Pastor Mother Mabel Lorraine Hart, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2013 after a brief illness. She was born in Sedley, Virginia on April 11, 1925 to the late Martha Ford and Surry B. Young. She is also predeceased by her loving husband John Hart, son Troyce Hart and daughter Vanessa Hart-Hill. Mother Hart was an ordained Pastor of Christ Extended Hand Church.
Surviving children Carolyn M. Hart-Belton of Washington, DC, Royce Hart of Norfolk, VA and Kenneth D. Hart of Norfolk, VA; a host of grand & great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews.
The homegoing service will be held 1pm, Monday, May 6, Chapel, Metropolitan Funeral Service Granby Street. Elder John Peet Breath, God Christian Fellowship, will be officiating. Viewing will be held 11-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

hi Kenny sorry to hear about such a beautiful woman of God, your mother was truly a pioneer and the voice of mason Memorial. I was reading and saw the name and I was like there is only one Mabel Hart that I know. may God keep and sustain you in your time of sorrow, Love you and the best to you and the family, she was a warrior and a true chtistian and I know heaven is rejoicing for one of it's beautiful angels has come home
