Margaret Slagle Obituary
Margaret retired from the Chesapeake Public Schools, May 8th, 1997. She loved and lived for the Lord, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and chocolate. She was an avid sports fan of all sports but especially the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. She was a member of the Lord's church and assembled at the Chesapeake church of Christ at 1020 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Chesapeake, VA 23322 where the service in her memory will be held at 1:00 PM, March 13th, 2020.

My prayers are with all of you during this time. I have not seen Margaret in many years but we worked together during the 80s. Being a braves fan and she a cardinal fan, we argued baseball for many years. I really miss those days. Sadly, I will be unable to attend the service but I will keep her in mind.

We are praying for you all at this very sad time. Margaret was a beautiful lady and had a welcoming smile. We always enjoyed seeing her at church and she will be sorely missed. May God bless you all with wonderful memories and be proud of her strong Christian faith.
