Mrs, Godette was a inspirational and a very important person in my daughter's life, Nadia Christian. Mrs. Godette took Nadia under her wings at Ready Academy. She was a well respected person and educator. The sweetest person you ever want to meet. Nadia was a handful but Mrs. Godette had a way with motivating and keeping her focused. I am sending my heartfelt condolences to the Godette Family. She will be greatly missed and Mrs. Godette would be proud to learn Nadia will be graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, May 2023.

To Sonny and Wayne
We would like to send our deepest heartfelt sympathy to you. We know how much love is shared between you. Marian loved both of you with all of her heart.
We grew close to Marian through the "Tabernacle Seekers" origination and success. She had an indescribable love and devotion for our youth. She encouraged me and the children to excel.
Your whole family encouraged our youth and never received the praise you deserved. Marian also became a friend to our mother and that made our family happy.
So Sonny and Wayne please take comfort in knowing that she should be resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father looking down on you!
With Love
