Mario Martini Obituary
Virginia Beach - Captain Mario "Marty" Martini USN (Retired), 96 passed away on April 24, 2018 of natural causes. Marty is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Rose Mary and children, Laura Jansen (James), Suzanne Rainey, Marianne Holmes, Christopher Martini (Deborah), two grandchildren, John Martini Jansen (Lynn), and Robert Jansen (Erica), and five great grandchildren, Samantha, Ashleigh, John Martini Jansen, Jr., Emily and Jacob.
The family expresses deep gratitude to the nurses and staff of Intrepid Hospice and his beloved caregivers, Felicia, Martha, Idell, and Dee. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choosing.
The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM in the Laskin Rd Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. on Saturday April 28, 2018.
