Marion Manwaren Obituary

Marion Lee Manwaren PORTSMOUTH - Marion Keith Manwaren, a lifetime resident of Portsmouth, passed away at home Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009. She was a 1968 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, member of the Girls Service Organization for the USO, and employed at QVC network for 10 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert Manwaren of 40 years; three children, Amy Stamey, husband Gary, and two grandchildren, Lily and Blair of Norfolk, Jamie Manwaren and wife Krista of Newport News, Joy Lytle and husband Brian and three grandchildren, Andrew, Noah and Kelsie of Suffolk; brothers and sisters, Norman Manwaren, Sandra and Larry Crabb of Kansas City, Carolyn and Dan Dollarhide of Potomac, Md., Roy Keith of Midlothian, Va., and Wilma Keith of Virginia Beach; nieces and nephews, Sharon and Bob Wright, Sylvia York, Wayne James and all of their children. Family and friends will be received Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 4320 Twin Pines Road, Portsmouth, VA 23703. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Marks United Methodist Church or to the American Kidney Foundation. Cremation Society of Virginia, Hampton Roads office, is assisting the family.
