Mark S. Dorney

Virginia Beach - Mark S. Dorney, 55, beloved husband and father passed away April 30th, 2014.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Cynthia Dorney and daughter, Emily Dorney. He is predeceased by his parents, Carol and Eugene Dorney as well as his dear in-laws, Charlie and Julia Grimes.

Along with his wife and daughter he is survived by his brother, Eugene Dorney of MA; sister, Debbie Fontaine of Colorado, Much loved family members, Debbie and Charlie Darwin, Tammy Krug, Jinnie Dorney; six nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Born in Boston, MA, and raised in Upstate New York, Mark made Virginia Beach his home in 1980.

He was a master plumber, recently retired from Newport News Public Schools. An avid fisherman his spirit will forever remain on the shores of Cape Cod, the choppy waters of the Chesapeake Bay and the peaceful tranquility of Lake Gaston.

A memorial service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com
