Mary Emma Delk Crocker

Mary Emma Delk Crocker, 90, of Smithfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was born and raised in Smithfield and loved everything about her town. Mary Emma was a walking history book and could remember every date, event, and person she came in contact with her entire life. She is preceded in death by her parents Merritt A. Delk and Isabelle Thomas Delk; husband, Clyde Samuel Crocker; and dear friend Anne Brown Delk. She is survived by her family and loving caregivers, Marty and Nancy Lynn Delk; Her "grandchildren", Abbey Rooney (Tim), Kayla Williams(Griffin), and Caitlin McCormick (Henry); and her "great grand children", Ethan, Drake, Tucker, Parker, Fynn, Sutton, and Fletcher, who will miss their "Emma" deeply. She also leaves behind her four legged friend, Lolli. A graveside service will be held at 4 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Mill Swamp Cemetery, 6329 Mill Swamp Rd, Ivor, VA 23866 with Rev. Dr. Don Rhoton and Rev. Dr. Patrick Wood presiding.
