Mrs Scott had a presence about her that you felt the minute you entered the room. Her daughters, Patty and Linda have that same elegance about them. What beautiful women she put her heart into. I will miss her so much. I feel so grateful to have become her housekeeper, her caregiver but most of all her friend.

Aunt Mary and Uncle Scotty were there for my family when as a young Marine I was transferred to Norfolk. They kept us connected to family when we were hundreds of miles from where our parents were and were there for the births of my two youngest children. We learned not to judge others by their means or situation but to judge ourselves by what we did for others. We could not find a way to be there in body tomorrow to say goodbye to Aunt Mary in person or to return a hug. Aunt Mary will forever be with us in our hearts and memories as will the rest of our family we grew to know and love when we lived in Tidewater, VA.
