Michael Brown Obituary
Mike graduated from Granby High School as part of the Class of 1981. Following graduation, Mike earned his BS at Old Dominion University in 1985, which led to his successful career in the finance industry for 35 years. Mike's many passions included classic cars (MOPAR), classic rock music (Led Zeppelin), American history, playing his guitar and having fun with his family and friends.
He will be missed immensely by his best friend and wife of 30 years, Debbie; his brothers David and Thomas Brown, other members of his loving family and many friends. He was preceded by his parents Edgar and Gloria Brown.
A grave side service of remembrance will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 9th at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23505.
Those who wish to remember Mike in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjudes.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.html. Missing my very kind, hilarious, and gentle Uncle Mike today. He was such a beam of light and source of calm steadiness for our family. He is greatly missed.

In my eyes, Mike was always a class act with a smile always on his face.
Mike and I spent many an hour riding bikes together and talking all about bikes.
We also shared a love for Mopar muscle cars.
