Michael Rainey Obituary
Norfolk - Michael L. Rainey, Sr., 52, of the 9400 block of Masoncreek Rd. passed away September 9, 2015 at Depaul Medical Center, Norfolk, VA. He was born in Norfolk, VA on June 6, 1963 to the late Catherine E. Sumler. He attended Lake Taylor High School. Michael worked for 18 years as a laborer for W.F. MaGann. Michael is survived by his wife, Monique Rainey; three daughters, Michelle Williams, Monica Rainey and step-daughter, Whitney Edwards; one son, Michael Rainey, Jr.; one granddaughter and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held, 11am, Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Way of the Cross, ELIM, 2800 Chesapeake Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23509. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby is handling the arrangements.
