Miguel Quintero-Russi Obituary
Virginia Beach - Miguel Angel Quintero-Russi passed away April 26th, 2017 in his Virginia Beach, VA home. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Lynn Quintero of 47 years, son Michael Quintero and his wife Regina of Derwood, MD, daughter Jennifer Pavel and her husband Robert of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren, Jaxson and Jazmine Quintero and Thomas and Olivia Pavel; brothers Jaime of Naples, FL and Hernando of Arlington, VA; sisters Anna of Nashville, TN, Nora of Springfield, VA and Gloria of Alexandria, VA; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Antonio Quintero, mother Leonor Russi and brothers Francisco and Antonio Quintero.
Born in Colombia, Miguel was a very generous, kind-hearted, thoughtful, hardworking and devoted family man who was loved by many. He enjoyed helping the homeless, making people laugh, and watching soccer.
A mass is scheduled on Friday, May 12 at 7:30 pm at St. Francis of Assisi in Derwood, MD with a reception to follow at the home of Michael and Regina Quintero. Father John Dillon will officiate the ceremony. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 at 11:30 am at The Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA.
