Nancy Quintilone Obituary
Norfolk - Nancy I. Curles Quintilone, 50, went to be with Jesus on March 3, 2017.
Born in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Ora Curles. She was a National Sing Language Interpreter at Norfolk Public Schools and an avid crafter. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Zulekia Court No. 35 Ladies of the Shrine, and the Ladies of the Drum and Bugle Corps.
Left to cherish her memory: her husband, Richard E. Quintilone; three children, Richard E. Quintilone, II, and wife, Amy, Rachel Q. Lougthlin and husband, George, and Katherine Q. Greene and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Jeremiah, Bethany, Kimmy, and Jason; and sisters, Leslie Wright and Pat Brughabacher and husband, Jim.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel on Monday, March 6, 2017, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Temple Baptist Church, Norfolk by Pastor Mack C. Scott, Jr. Interment will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Khedive Transportation Fund c/o Khedive Temple, 645 Woodlake Dr., Chesapeake, VA 23320. So sorry to hear about Nancy passing. We were great friends back when. She was my maid of honor when my husband back then and I renewed our wedding vows. Nancy loved signing. I wish that we had stayed in touch. My prayers go out for the whole family.

I am saddened to read that Nancy has passed on. She was the Sign Language interpreter at Lake Taylor High School while I worked in the library in the early 1990's. I remember Nancy loved the television series "Beauty and the Beast"and, I believe, was a member of a fan club of the series. Praying that God's comfort will be with her family & friends.
