Patricia Ann Connard

Patricia Ann Connard passed peacefully October 5, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church for over 40 years; was a Past Matron of Kempsville Chapter #173, Order of the Eastern Star and served as Grand Esther; she was an active member of Zulekia Court #35, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, and the Royal Order of Jesterettes; and she retired from the Virginia Beach School system.

Pat was the Matriarch of her family and loved them with all her heart and soul. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, S. Ray Connard; Daughters, Cynthia Golden (Wayne), Kimberly Keen (Billie) of VA Beach; Grand Children, Kendra and Tripp Miller, Logan and Anna Spruill, Ricky and Keli Noll; Great Grand Children, Pyper and Bodie Miller; Parker, River and Ivy Jade Spruill and Grayson, Madalyn, Hailey and Kensley Noll; Siblings, Floyd Flanagan of Covington, VA. Linda Scruggs of Belle, WV, Diana Hughart of Cottageville, WV.

Pat is predeceased by her parents, Brooks and Francis O'Dell Flanagan; Brother, Michael Flanagan of Rainelle, WV; and son, Allen Ray.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 11 from 5pm - 7pm, followed by a Funeral Service Tuesday, October 12 at 2pm. All services will be held at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Memorial United Methodist Church, 804 Gammon Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23464.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's memory to the Kempsville Chapter #173 Order of the Eastern Star or the Zulekia Court #35, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.

A Private burial will take place at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
