Patrick L. Sipe Jr.

1964 - 2022

Patrick Sipe Jr, 58, of Virginia Beach, Va, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2022, while visiting his daughters and grandson for the holiday in Jacksonville, FL.

Pat was born February 22, 1964, in Maryland, the son of Patrick and Ruth Ann Sipe. He was the oldest of 4 siblings.

He attended college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He then married his college sweetheart, Angie Forrest.

Pat finished his four-year standout career at Liberty, establishing marks that have withstood the test of time. He finished his career as the Flames' all-time leader in runs scored (179), total bases (489), home runs (59) and RBI (226).

Following his standout career at Liberty, the native of Virginia Beach, Va., signed a free agent contract with the Montreal Expos. where he played three seasons of minor league baseball.

Pat continued to hold the title of "Father of the Year" then proceeded to become the best major account sales representative in Jacksonville, FL.

He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Brittany and Tiffany Sipe of Jacksonville, FL and grandson, Jadyn Sipe.

Pat is also survived by his mother, Ruth Ann Sipe of Virginia Beach, Va; two sisters, Joann Sipe and Darlene Thomas of Virginia Beach, Va; two nieces, Amber Branham and Heather Thomas. His brother, Randy, and father, Patrick Sipe Sr. preceded Pat into heaven.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 4:30pm on Friday, December 9th at the Virginia Beach National Golf Club in Virginia Beach, VA. at 2500 Tournament Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
