Paul Pevic Obituary
Virginia Beach - Paul C. "Buzz" Pevic, 85, passed away peacefully January 15, 2014.
He was born March 5, 1928 in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, to the late Martina Watona and was the husband of the late Barbara Arlene Pevic. Buzz grew up in Pennsylvania and lived there until he moved to Virginia Beach in June 2000. He was a retired coal miner.
Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Diane Sterling and husband Robert, Barbara Priggins and husband Robert, both of Virginia Beach; beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah and Elizabeth Sterling of Virginia Beach and three sisters, Patricia Shawen of Summerville, SC, Marlene Smoody of Crucible, PA and Pauline Watona of McLean, VA.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel on Friday, Jan. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Kings Grant House Assisted Living, 440 N. Lynnhaven Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Condolences may be offered to the family at:
