Robert Crow

Virginia Beach has lost a beloved husband, father, and friend, as Robert Ray Crow Jr. passed into eternity on March 28, 2026, at the age of 56. Born in Virginia on December 14, 1969, Robert lived a life centered on family, kindness, and faith in God, which carried him through both joyful and difficult times.

Robert built a long and respected career at Checkered Flag, where he worked with dedication and pride. He had a deep love for cars and racing, something that stayed with him from childhood and remained a special part of who he was throughout his life-especially his fondness for Volkswagens.

Beyond his work, Robert was known for his generous heart and willingness to help others. He had a gift for fixing things, whether it was a car, a toy, or a problem someone couldn't solve alone. He found joy in spending time with his family, sharing laughs, playing games, and making lasting memories. His faith gave him strength and comfort, and he trusted in the promise of eternal life.

Robert also enjoyed hobbies that brought him closer to those he loved, including gaming, paintball, and fun adventures with his children. His sense of humor, playful spirit, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Celia Marie Crow; his children, Robert "Bobby" Ray Crow III and Haylee Anne Crow (Anna George); his mother, Debby Brafford; his father, Robert Ray Crow I (Benita); and his beloved dog, Lady. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He is reunited in heaven with his stepfather, Richard "Dick" Brafford, his grandparents Irene and Tom Hicks, and his parents-in-law. We take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

Robert will be remembered for his love, his laughter, and the way he cared for the people in his life. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds peace in knowing they will see him again.
