Richard Bach Obituary
He moved to the Tidewater area in 1978 and has been a long time member of The Church of the Holy Family. He enjoyed spending his mornings with the many friends he and Mary made at the Great Neck Hardees. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his three sons; Gary Bach (Mary Jane) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Robert (Bob) Bach (Carol) of Chesapeake, and Ray Bach (Patti) of Virginia Beach, seven grandchildren; Gary, Michael, Danielle, Amanda, Gregory, Nic and Mat, as well as eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Theresa Bach.
An inurnment will take place on Tuesday, July 18th, 11:00 AM at Church of the Holy Family Catholic Church and all are invited to attend. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bach, but I know he was an exceptional gentleman from the fact that he raised three sons who were some of the finest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing (sometimes referred to by friends as "Gary Bach, Bobby Bach, and 'Baby' Bach -- aka Ray). Although dad lived a full life and made it to an age to which we all aspire, that doesn't ease the pain of losing a father, as parents are very special people in our lives. My condolences to the family. Everyone stay safe and God Bless.
