Robert Thomas Obituary
Robert A. Thomas SILVER SPRINGS, Fla. - Robert A. Thomas, 55, passed away May 9, 2008, at home. A native of Hudson, N.Y., he moved to Florida from Hampton and was employed by Marilott Cabinets in Ocala and was a former tugboat captain in Virginia. Mr. Thomas was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in Vietnam and also was an avid and talented woodworker. Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret of Silver Spring; son, Rob Mackey of Chesapeake, son, Leroy Jackson of Jacksonville, N.C.; daughter, Patricia Bush of Ocala; son, Robert Hamm of Valatic, N.Y.; daughter, Dana Brooks and son Frederick Hamm, both of Albany, N.Y.; father, Leroy Thomas of Hudson, N.Y.; brother, David Thomas of Harrisburg, Pa.; sisters, Patrice Smith of Belleview, Fla., and Holly Drivis of Ocala; and 17 grandchildren. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, is in charge.

Peggy, we were sad to hear about Bobby's passing. But try not to think of this as a loss but only a gain, you just gained the best gaurdian angel anyone could ask for. You are loved very much and surrounded by family and friends. We are only 5 minutes down the road if you need us. We love you, Phillip, Jenny, and Chloe
