Robert Wilson Obituary

Robert A. Wilson, 71, passed away peacefully January 30, 2022 at his son's home in Chesapeake, Va. He was born May 1950 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of Robert and Lucille Wilson.

Know better as Bobby, he completed most of his formative education at Norfolk Academy but ultimately graduated from Bayside High School, Class of 1968. He initially attended North Carolina State University but transferred to George Washington University where he received his degree in Business Administration. After his formal education, he was employed by Nissan Motor Corporation in Portsmouth, VA.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his former spouse Sharon (Lovitt) Davis and their daughter Ashley Wilson of Virginia Beach; son Benjamin and his spouse, Theresa (Totin) Wilson of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; one sister Beverly (Wilson) Rooker and her husband Boyd of Suffolk; one brother Gary Wilson; many nieces and nephews.

A service of in remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at 1457 Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. Those who wish to remember Bobby in a special way may make a gift in his memory to the Mesothelioma Research Foundation of America at 3011 Townsgate Road, Suite 450, Westlake Village, CA 91361.
