I first met Bobbie (Roberta) at Green Run High School, Virginia Beach, when she was working and assisting her daughter, Lynn, in the attendance office. Her glowing smile and genuine interest always greeted me every time I saw her. Her friendship has always been such a blessing and ever a welcome boost to my spirits and all who have been fortunate to know her. Our richest reward while we are on earth is surely the caring friends and family who bless our lives in all the times we spend together. And Bobbie’s friendship was the priceless reward for all who knew her. Her smile remains in our hearts forever as a reminder of her love and kindness.

Consider myself one of the blessed to have been asked to join the "ladies" to the beach to soak up some rays over 20+ years ago. May she be at peace and those left behind continue the "Book Club" meetings to raise a glass in her honor.
