To Rubelia and family. over the years Ron and I remained the best of friends. He kept his sense of humor even when I cried about his illness. His way of comforting me when it should have been the other way around. He will truly be missed. Condolences to the family. Melissa you did well in helping your daddy....Gwenette Perry

Sundays will never be the same with out, Ron!
He “served” to the end.
Brother Ron has fought a “GOOD FIGHT” and he has run “HIS RACE”!
Now all is well for Ron, for he is finally at rest, with his LORD and SAVIOR….
To Brother Ron’s family and Friends take comfort in this…...
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you onto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (Jn. 14:1-3).

My condolences to the family of Ron. I enjoyed running trains with him at the Model Railroad Club. He was fond of my army train. I was always willing to help him when he needed assistance in getting his trains to run better. Before he joined South Hampton Roads NTRAK, I remember him being one of the first people in line when the local train shows opened; he would visit the NTRAK Club layout and see what was running. I made it a point to have some army equipment running for him. The Club will miss him.
