Sandra Duggan's healing touch had an unforgettable and powerful spiritual dimension to it which I had experienced as one of her students over twenty years ago. As a teacher, she instilled not only a mastery of the art and science of healing but also a sense of discipline in her students. I will remember her as long as I live.

Sandra was a beacon of light for me, when I came to her for colonics she gave me information that has eternally helped me not only physically but also spiritually. I was just thinking of passing through Virginia Beach and she was one of the first people I thought of to visit. She was one of the wisest and gentle people I have ever had the honor to meet. Bless her spirit...and may her family have peace in their hearts. Namaste

Dear Jan and Barbara,
I've just today discovered that Sandra has passed. I haven't been to VB in more than a year so had not seen her in a while. I'm so sorry for your loss. She spoke of your both often with much love when I did see her. She was so much more than a teacher and therapist, she was a mentor, a guide, the example of what I'd like to be. She always knew just what to say to help me understand and get through a challenging time. She was a friend. I will miss her terribly. I hope your memories of her will help you through this sad time.

I am a past client of Sandra Duggan but moved out of VB area for 15 years now. However, I got the pleasure of her services in summer 2010. Recently ran across my book, "Massage Hydrotherapy & Healing Oils" and realized first time that she had coauthored the book with husband, Joseph. Now I see online that she's in a much better place. What a beautifully spiritual person that has had a huge impact on so many lives!

If we needed personal or spiritual fellowship you lead us while teaching us how to inspirine ourselves. You will truly be missed. We love you. God bless.

Sandra was a great teacher and a great person who had the ability to positively charge the thinking of those who were fortunate enough to be able to benefit from her teachings and philosophy of life. I was already in my mid-fifties and serving as a tenured professor at a university when I decided to also become a massage therapist. Sandra taught me not only the best techniques in the profession but also how to be more forgiving, more disciplined, and even more responsive to the needs of others - - she was a teacher's teacher! I did see her twice in my dreams after her departure: she was just standing and smiling in one dream; and gave me in a classroom setting a very challenging exam in the second dream!! I will both remember her and keep remembering her for as long as I live. May her soul rest in peace in the palms of the Creator!!

A Native American Prayer-

I Give You This One Thought

I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still - I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

Not only did you school me but you taught me the important lessons of life and I am a better person b/c of it. My hope is that you knew what a profound effect you had on my life. My everyday life was changed for the better b/c of you. Many of my fears were alleviated b/c of you. Everyday I look in the mirror and recite the affirmations you helped me create. Life is better b/c of you. My daughter's life is better b/c of you. Thank you for sharing your many gifts. Peace be with you my gentle friend. You will live forever in my heart. And to your family, my sincere condolences. You can be nothing but pround of the woman Sandra was and the positive energy she spread near and far. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Sandra is still teaching. The lesson is that contrast teaches us. We are experiencing our sorrow because of the joy we felt in knowing Sandra's love. To the family, my deepest sympathy for your great loss. This loss felt so strongly because of all the cherished memories. For her Cayce/ Reillly family, the love is sincere and the loss as genuine. I embrace my sadness....because I would not be feeling it had I not had the plesure of her frienship. Until then my friend....
