Sherry Boughn Obituary
She was dearly loved by her faithful partner Andy Downs, of Virginia Beach; her devoted brother Walter Liffick (Vicki) of Clarksville, VA; and sister Bonnie Greger of Paris, IL.
Sherry is survived by many family members, including her daughter Corrina Kanitz Cruzan (Steve) Port Charlotte, FL; son Clayton Kanitz (Tessa) Tuscola, IL; step-children Brian Boughn (Alisha) Moyock, NC; Erick Boughn Kill Devil Hills, NC; Jenny Boughn Hampstead, NC; Shawn Downs (Allison) Kissimmee, FL; Kelly Martinec (Rick) Chesapeake, VA. Sherry is survived by 17 wonderful grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special friends include her cousin Carmen McNamara, Syd Simpson, Darlene Mellott, and Nick Smith.
Sherry attended First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach. All who knew Sherry will never forget her infectious smile and laughter, and her generosity to friends in need.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 14 at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 401 35th St., Virginia Beach, VA. Her dear friend and Pastor, Steve Gupton will lead the celebration. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Sherry's name to the Church or a charity of your choice.

I am sorry I just found out about this. I ran across this while looking for some strength from Sherry. My great mystery in my life. I loved her 50 years ago and still do.

I am so sorry to hear of Sherry's passing. I have helped with her insurance for 35 years and we always sat and chatted. I will miss her!
