Stephen Standing Obituary
Steve was born in Norfolk, VA on October 12, 1944. He is predeceased by his beautiful wife Rebecca ‘Becky' Parnell Standing and leaves behind his two wonderful daughters, Crawford Standing (Bill) and Leigh Kleintop (Jon) as well as two grandchildren he adored, Ian Standing and Bree Kleintop. He joins his beloved parents James and Marie Standing, as well as sister Diane Peery and brothers Jim, Bob and Guy in heaven. Steve is survived by his sisters Mary Linda Merklinger, Marie Beck and brothers Michael and Patrick.
A proud graduate of the University of Virginia's School of Business with a focus in Economics, Steve was an entrepreneur and founder of Trend Forms, Inc. He dearly loved his wife & family, as well as hunting, fishing and golf. Steve is loved by many and missed by all. A private ceremony will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad (in name of Becky) or Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia (in name of Sister Bruno).
