Tara and I shared many stories about raising boys. Her sleepless nights became a running joke, with her asking for my recommendation for a good under eye concealer:). I last spoke to her that afternoon as she and Katie were coming back from lunch. I never got the chance to finish that conversation. I miss her still.

Tara was a wonderful friendly person. I worked with her in Public Works/Engineering. She was a hard worker and a dedicated City employee. I was off work that week on vacation. She said she was going to come see me soon to talk and catch up bec I had been out on medical leave. We never did get to have that conversation. She loved her husband and baby boy deeply. She talked about the home renovations and Patrick. She glowed. I will miss her so much. Can't believe she is gone. Love you Tara. I will never forget you.

My wife and I have a son born under similar circumstances to your son. The story of your son running around the house looking for his mum burned deep in my soul and touched every fiber of grief.
My wife and I pray for you.

We haven't spoken in years as our lives grew in different directions, but I still remember a time at Wilson when Jarman's Trig Class and Dugan's Physics Class paired up to study and build stick bridges based on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Our group won the weight barring competition where we built a suspension bridge (Tara's idea, yes - we knew who had the smarts in our group). Tara's keen sense of knowing what to do and ability to convey her thoughts projected us to the top - truly an engineer from the start.
May she rest in peace. May God be good to her.
