Ted Meloni Obituary

Ted A. Meloni VIRGINIA BEACH - Ted A. Meloni, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 11, 2010. He was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Elizabeth Meloni. He was born in Charleston, W.Va., and later moved to Virginia, where he attended Princess Anne, and Norview High Schools; he also attended Castle Heights Military School in 1951. He became an electronics technician and worked for more than 50 years in several establishments, including Boone's Quality TV, Bradshaw Televisions and most recently, Factory TV. Ted is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie Meloni; his sons, Terry Meloni and Gary Meloni and his wife Ellen and their daughter Savannah; his granddaughter, Anna Fearer; three great- grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail and Ethan; two brothers, Richard and his wife Nedra and Michael; and one sister, Patricia Southerland and her husband Harold. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. We have been neighbors of Teds since 1996. Couldnt ask for nicer neighbors. Ted always waved at us as his drove by our house.

So sorry to hear of Ted's untimely death. Even though we haven't seen him in years, you can't help but remember his sweet voice and smile. The world would be a lot nicer if there were more people like him. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family.

To all family and friends , we were so sadden to hear of Teds passing, i know right now there are no words that can ease the pain and sorrow. With God and time you will be able to continue on with life there are the wonderful memories that God will bring to mind that will help carry you through and give you peace.
