Trent Stone Obituary

Trenton Scott Stone, 22, of Carrollton passed away on October 19, 2021.  Our family is deeply saddened and forever heartbroken over his loss.  Trent was a bright light and everyone who knew him will certainly miss him.

Trent was born on September 3, 1999 to Wayne Matthew Stone, Jr and Carla Jo Gore in Chesapeake, VA.  He was a 2018 graduate of Western Branch High School.

Trent was excited to have been recently accepted to the Fire Academy for the Suffolk Fire Department and was looking forward to a career helping and serving others.

Trent never met a stranger and his contagious smile, witty humor and kind heart was a gift to anyone he came in contact with him. It's hard for us to imagine a world without him in it.  He loved to work out, go the beach and dance.  If you knew Trent, there's a good chance you've danced and sang together at least once!

Trent is survived by his Parents, Matt and Robin Stone and  Carla and Rick Gore.  His Brothers, Tyler Stone (Brittany) Stinky Stone (Cat) Timmy Whitlow, Jason Whitlow, Ricky Gore, Cody Gore, Hunter Gore, Rhett Gore.

His Grandparents, Diane Stone, Carl and Jackie Prevatte and Teenie C. Swanger.

The Love of his life, Girlfriend, Rebecca Stone.

He was Uncle T to Cohen, Cruzzer, Ozzi Jo, Grace, Levi, Kash, Kinsler and Kennett.

He was predeceased by his Pop, Wayne Matthew Stone Sr. and his Uncle Scotty Stone.

Trent is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as the best group of friends who he loved immensely.  They will all miss him dearly as well.

We will honor and celebrate Trent's life on Saturday, October 30th at 12:00 p.m. at West Park Church of Christ, 926 Cherokee Road Portsmouth, VA 23701.

Matt and Robin are  hosting a Celebration of Life Saturday October 30th at 4pm at their house to celebrate the amazing life of Trent.  Please come prepared to party and celebrate a life that touched us all so very deeply.  There will be live entertainment, food, laughs and all of our favorite memories.

Our hearts are hurting for your family during this unbelievable time. Trent was truly a happy and fun loving guy we have known through our grandson, Mykal!
No words can possibly register in your hearts right now to comfort you...but we know God created Trent and used him mightily in the short time he had on earth! One day, you will see him again and fit all the pieces of the puzzle together in God´s perfect plan.
We are lifting you all in prayer often.
In His love,
Ronnie & Carol Rickman

I met Trent only one time at one of his closest friends house, Bryce Harrison. I instantly liked him and his wonderful, contagious personality. Not once did he not have a smile on his face. I am blessed to have met him the one time but would have loved many more encounters. May God Bless his family and his love, Becca. He will be missed by so many.

I´ll never forget him. I´ve known Trent since we were little kids at Chittum. We weren´t close but I´ll never forget the time he stopped a group of kids from messing with me in the hallway and did everything he could to make me feel better. It didn´t take much. I´m just so in disbelief. May you rest in eternal peace Trent.

I taught Trent at Western Branch High during his junior year. He was incredibly funny, charming, and has the best smile! He would constantly make me laugh! I am so glad I got to see him earlier this year when he came to pick up his transcripts. My condolences go to his family, his girlfriend, and his numerous friends that I know (like everyone else) love him so much. He certainly will be missed.

I first met Trent at my brothers 50th Birthday at the end of August. He was best friends with my Nephew Bryce, we hung out, chatted and played corn hole, he and I were letting the kids out on the jet ski and boat, he was so kind and gentle with them. What got me the most was how polite and nice he was to all of us, I remember saying by to my family and Trent went out of his way to say bye to me and my family, he truly, truly made a huge impact on me and my family, what a nice young man young man! I am truly thinking of his family and Girlfriend thru these rough times, I am just glad that I got to meet Trent and have such a fond memory of a great young man!
