Beloved Mrs. Robertson and Family,
My "Preacher"...his was a life heard round the world. We dedicated this Sunday's service on World Missions to him. His voice was one of the first to be heard by my infant ears as I lay in my mother's arms at the old Elm Avenue Church. His words helped shape my mind through Education at Central Christian Academy (class of 1978). His hand led me into the baptismal waters and held me tight so that I was no longer afraid. His example led me to seminary where he had studied. His name was one I was always proud to mention at any church in the world for I knew it would be rightly revered. He was my Daddy's dear, dear friend and they were a dynamic duo in ministry together. "Preacher"...No one else will hold this title for me. May my life bring honor to his everlasting legacy.

Dear Pastor Tim, Vicki, Krista and Dana,
Your loss, though temporary is Heaven's gain. He is now part of that great cloud of witnesses that we too long to join. May the Lord's grace sustain during this time and give you strength for the days ahead.

Tim and Girls. Your Dad was a very special man. His impact in my life was very significant. For me, he was a model in pastoring and missions. I have been in Missions ministry now for 23 years. Central Baptist Church, and it's pastor challenged me in Faith Promise giving for missions. He was a treasured friend and I will never forget him. I look forward to watching as he receives his Crowns at the Judgement Seat, and then as he lays those Crowns at the feet of Jesus. I had anticipated this day for a long time - and have prayed for it. I had earnestly hoped that my conference schedule would allow me to be there for the service, but regretfully, we will be unable to attend. Both Dot and I are praying for you.

Tim and Girls. Your Dad was a very special friend who had a very significant impact on my life and ministry, especially in the area of World missions. It will be a joy to see the Crown he is awarded, and to see him lay it at Jesus feet. During my ministry there have been few to make a greater impact for evangelizing the World through Faith Promise giving for missions than U.G. Robertson. I have anticipated this day for some time - and prayed for it. I hoped my conference schedule would permit me to attend, but regretfully I will be be able to be there. Both Dot and I are praying for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this sad time of losing a faithful, loving and devoted husband and Dad. I'll never forget his love for his church and his Savior. He served well and is now at the side of his Lord. I know in my heart he has many rewards waiting for him. I wish I could be there with you , but know I am with you in spirit. Your father was a great man, and will be missed by many who loved him. I miss all of you and the church family he ministered to. Tim I know your father was proud of you just as each of his children, so keep the faith and his leagacy will live on.
