Virginia Garrison Obituary

Virginia Lee Garrison VIRGINIA BEACH - Virginia Lee Garrison, 73, went to be with the Lord July 11, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Hilda Munford. She was born in Norfolk July 31, 1935. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Garrison Sr. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Garrison and Billy Gene Garrison Jr. The family will receive friends today, July 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 15, at 11 a.m. in Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to: Stephanie Garrison, P.O. Box 62094, Virginia Beach, VA 23466. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.altmeyer.com.

Stephanie and Scott: May God give you strength during this difficult time and may you cherish the fond memories forever. Scott, I am glad you were able to make the trip up to see her and Stephanie, what a blessing you were to her for all of your sacrifice to help care for her and take her to her appointments.
