William Brinson Obituary
Dillwyn - William S. Brinson, Sr., 64, of Dillwyn passed peacefully on August 18, 2016 at Heritage Hall. Bill was a retired commercial fishing boat captain in Frisco NC, Wancheese, NC and Norfolk, VA areas during his career. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy Hufham Brinson; two sons, Steven S. Brinson and wife, Mary and Matthew W. Brinson; brother, Michael W. Brinson; niece, Laura Brinson and numerous other relatives.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Zelma Brinson and son, William S. Brinson, Jr.
Private services will be held at a later date. Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is serving the family.

My deepest condolences go out to the Brinson family.Our families go back to childhood. Zelma Brinson, Bill's mom and my mother Peggy Kilgore were best friends foever. Bill was a very caring, loving person.To you Bill, thank you for all the good times and memories that I hold forever in my heart,I love you. To the family-Those we love Don't go away,they walk beside us everyday, unseen,unheard but always near. Still loved,still missed and very dear. Cheryl Sutphin-residing in Pa.
