William Sluss Obituary
Chesapeake - William O. Sluss, Jr. of Chesapeake passed away on March 21, 2016 at 63 years of age after a long battle with asbestosis. He served our nation's Navy during the Vietnam War and gave nearly 40 years of his welding expertise to Plasser American. He is survived by his mother, Mary Tipton of Kingsport, TN, his sister, Jeanette Huff of Hiltons,VA, and his son, William Sluss of Chesapeake, VA. He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Sharon K. Sluss, as well as his father, William O. Sluss, Sr.
Bill will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Details of a memorial will follow at a later date.
