Cassandra Schmidt Obituary
She was born on May 17, 1970, to Victor Wayne Hodge and Georgetta May Bishop.
She was a loving mother, daughter and sister, a good friend to many. By trade, she was an attorney.
Among those who preceded in death was her mother.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Jessica Elizabeth Schmidt and Michael Andrew Schmidt; father, Victor Wayne (Victoria) Hodge Sr.; brothers, Victor Wayne (Chrystal) Hodge III, Christopher Aloysius (Lawrence) Hodge, Tobias Lee Andrew (Chrystal) Hodge and Michael Lee Bishop Jr.; and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home near Shepherdsville. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Cassie I LOVE YOU but I guess GOD needed you more than we did. Your smile and humor will surely be missed. You were a sweet beautiful spirit. My prayers and condolences go out to her family. To her children she loved you both more than anything. To Chris she was very excited about making your wedding cake. Brent you were the love of her life and to her dad.... There was no one better.....
