Norval Harris Obituary

Norval Lee 'Nob' Harris, 90, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Sunday, June 01, 2025 at his home. Nob spent the majority of his career in real estate at Coldwell Banker Harris and Company and Bullitt County Real Estate. He was co-owner and founder of the Mt. Washington Star Newspaper and a former barber. He served his community on the first Mt. Washington City Council. Nob was a former longtime member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington, and a current member of Southeast Christian Bullitt County Campus.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Harris; a grandson, Bobby Jack Harris; a brother, James Hill Harris; and two sisters, Faye Vowell and Mae Louise 'Mazie' Elder.Nob is survived by three sons, Jeff, Gregory (Alice), and Chris (Jennifer) Harris; one sister, Betty Virginia Harris; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Victoria, Abigail, Jade, Paul, Davis, and Coleman; six great grandchildren, Leigha, Jarett, Jayla, Harrison, Damon, and Finn; along with two special caregivers, Wanda Lewis and Judy McMahan.
