David Misselhorn Obituary
WASHINGTON - David P. "Dave" Misselhorn, 57, of Washington passed away at 1:14 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at his home.
Dave was born on November 8, 1963, in Peoria to Paul and JoAnn Rathert Misselhorn. He married Tracy Saal on October 14, 1989, in Pekin.
Surviving are his wife, Tracy; their children, Ben Misselhorn, Sarah (Michael) Fantl and Erin Misselhorn; his parents, Paul and Joann; his siblings, Lisa (Steve) Pruett and Mark (Maggie) Misselhorn; and several nieces and nephews.
Dave graduated from Eastern Illinois University and became the owner of the family business, B & L Camping Supply Center, in 1995. He loved all things outdoors, whether he was working in the garden, on a hunting trip or enjoying a baseball game. He had an interest in history and was a lifelong Cubs fan. He had collections of a few favorites, like his baseball hats, baseball cards and duck decoys. Dave enjoyed the simple things, especially time spent with his family. He had an easygoing personality that will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A private service will be held and interment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the KBStrong, Illinois CancerCare Foundation or Compassus Hospice.

Saddened by learning about Dave this morning. GREAT Dad, Co-Spectator in the many gymnasiums over past years. Great conversations regarding life, schools, children and general practices. My thoughts and prayers are with Tracy, Ben, Sara and Erin.
