David was an amazing uncle. He made sure our visits were memorable and fun. He had great taste in music, and I always looked forward to the CDs he and Candy would send. He introduced me to artists like The Talking Heads and The Black Keys, which blew my mind as a teenager and continue to be some of my favorites. It breaks my heart that he won't get to host another 4th of July BBQ, but I am so grateful to have had him as an uncle. He will be greatly missed.

I remember David as a fun loving person.
We had some good times as youngsters and got into a little mischief
as young men will do.
I'll always remember him as my friend of the past.
My sympathy to the family.
God Bless

Dave and I spent most days of our youth together; either in school or summer days looking for adventure. Unfortunately, we grew apart when I went to Spalding and he went to Woodruff. I am grateful for his friendship growing up. Rest in Peace, Dave and God Bless his family!

My brother, David, and I have been buddies ever since we were young. We hung around the same neighborhood kids, played outside games, walked our dog, Jack, to the river, and sometimes got into trouble at the same time with mom. Growing up with David as my friend was a lot of fun, but it was because he was the one with the creative and sometimes crazy ideas. As an adult, David was the one to have us over for family reunions and barbecues. He loved listening to music in the backyard while enjoying the warm sunshine, wearing a Cubs t-shirt. He and his wife, Candy, had the best July 4th parties, and somehow David always managed to have the best fireworks! He was just fun to be around, and I will so miss his smile and laugh. David was also a super uncle to my kids as he remembered them on every special occasion. He would tell each niece and nephew separately that they were his favorite, and he managed to make each one feel as though they were. I will always feel proud, blessed, and special that David was my brother. He was a good man and I will miss him every day. He is now with our beloved mom and dad and all the family and friends that have gone before him. Rest in peace, my brother and friend. I will love you forever. Patrish
