Oh Dave, I just saw you 2 weeks ago out in Joshua Tree....your paradise and mine! We live 3,000 miles apart, but by change happened to be in Joshua Tree at the same time. I know now our meeting a couple of weeks ago was not a coincidence, but rather a chance to see you one last time and to say good bye to a soul I have shared many fond memories with in the California desert. I am so heartbroken, my friend. But I know you are jammin' with our buddy Gram Parsons in heaven and filling in all the blanks. I know I'll see you on the other side someday, but in the meantime all I have now are pictures and bittersweet memories. Rest in peace, my dear soul.
