My sincere sympathy to your entire family at the passing of such a wonderful man and Dr. I had the great joy of working with Dr. P. in my early career as a nurse. I learned so much from him and about him. Not only was he a great MD, but such a talented individual with his music and writing. He had a great following of elderly patients and he took such care of them and always had time for a kind word, a pat on the shoulder or a good laugh. He was a true gentleman and was so loved by staff and other MD's. Take comfort in knowing how loved he was.

I'm heart broken knowing that Dr. Pritzker has passed away. I worked with him for years and saw first hand his genuine heart, kindness, caring and knowledge. He cared for my family for years and always took an interest in our personal lives. I'm so happy to hear that he was a grandpa. Somehow knowing he had that joy in his life lifts some sadness. The world is better because he lived in it. Our condolences to Shirley and family.

Dear Shirley,
My greatest condolences to you and the children on hearing of Ed's passing. He was my Doc for more than two decades. I was always impressed with how kind and respectful he was every time I needed his help. He even found the time to treat my mother when she was visiting and she made the same comment at age 93 now when I told her of his death. Even though I retired in 2004 and moved to Chicago, I've thought of both of you from time to time. May you find peace with your children and grandchildren.

My deepest sympathies to his siblings and cousins. Gary Spector

To the family
I was very sorry to learn that Ed had died. May his memory be a blessing to you. He was an extremely talented and good-hearted person. We studied together for our Bar Mitzvahs, played on several BBYO sports teams, and shared many hours discussing life. I often recalled our discussion of his time in Israel as a physician during the 1973 Yom Kippur war, and how he helped many soldiers and civilians. We compared our lives to the hours in a day, but he got to midnight before me. I cherish our times together.
