Emily Cullinan Obituary
PEKIN - Emily A. Cullinan, 86, of Pekin, IL, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Emily was born on January 8, 1932, in Peoria, IL, to Walter and Mary (Gould) Donley. She married Robert L. Cullinan on November 19, 1949. He passed away on July 14, 1977.
Also preceding in death were her parents; granddaughter, Angela Martin; one brother; and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Dan (Colleen Williams) Cullinan of Pekin; one daughter, Mary (Harry) Martin of Pekin; one grandson, Eric (Diane Pheasant) Martin; and one great-grandson, Cody Martin.
Emily worked at Pekin Insurance for 43 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Delavan, YEPI and 25 Year Club at Pekin Insurance; past president of ABWA; and past secretary of Pekin Women's Bowling Association. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, crocheting, traveling and listening to Elvis.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin, with the Rev. Heather Robertson officiating. Visitation will one hour before the services. Inurnment will be at a later date in Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Delavan.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
