Ivan Brush Obituary
EAST PEORIA - Ivan L. Brush, 85, of East Peoria, Ill., died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
Born on March 3, 1925, in Marietta, Ill., to Gilbert and Jacquetta Ford Brush, he married Betty L. Edwards in June of 1948 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on July 8, 2008, in East Peoria.
Surviving are one daughter, Carla Colleen Brush of Chillicothe, Ill.; and two sisters, Clarice Rennau of Washington, Ill., and Velma Ruth Dahmm of Bushnell, Ill.
Ivan was a World War II Army veteran.
He worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for over 20 years and also served as a funeral and ambulance assistant at Schmidt-Haller Funeral Parlor in East Peoria for many years.
Services for Ivan will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
Memorials may be made to RCAP Enterprises, 5503 Main St., Chillicothe, IL 61523, where his daughter resides.
