PEORIA HEIGHTS - James "Jimmy" P. Kent, 50, of Peoria Heights passed away at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on July 21, 1963, in Peoria, the son of James and Patricia Southey Kent.
Surviving are his parents of Washington; two sisters, Brenda (Dan) Carroll of Washington and Vicki (Greg) Howatt of Neenah, Wis.; two nephews, Brandon Burke and Joshua Howatt; and two nieces, Tiffany Howatt and Brittany Whisler.
His grandparents preceded him in death.
Cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled.
Memorials in his name may be given to the American Lung Association.

I will always remember Jim as being larger than life. I'm sure everyone will agree, that when God made Jim he broke the mold. He made me laugh so many times, and was a true friend. Rest in Peace my brother, you will be missed.
