PEORIA - Jerry L. Savill, 79, of Peoria passed away at 12:25 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria.
Due to COVID-19 mandates, a private graveside services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL. The Rev. Art Georges will officiate.
Memorials can be made to OSF Hospice.

I greeted Jerry and Jackie when they first stepped into the Nazarene church in Rock Island, IL. We became family instantly because of their kind souls and big hearts! I remember Jerry as a kind, gentle, quiet, positive soul with a smile on his face and a chuckle! He loved his Jackie and his family! May you now enjoy heaven my friend! My love and comfort to you Jackie and your family! You will miss him so, but you know where he is! Love you Jackie!

Jerry and Jackie were the best friends and pet sitters. They took care of our pets as if they were their own pets. They did this for many people. Such a loving couple. They are missed terribly.

My husband and I moved across the street from Jackie and Jerry on Cameron Lane in 2010. He and Jackie became family to our entire family. They were here for me when my husband passed. Love them both. My prayers go out to Jackie and her family during this time. He was such a good soul always with a smile and a kind word. I missed them when the moved and I still look across the street every day half expecting to see them. Love you Jerry. Love you Jackie.
