Jesus Rosas Obituary
PRINCEVILLE - Jesus Rosas, 55, of Princeville, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away in the emergency room at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 3:13 a.m.
Jesus was born on June 26, 1961, in Peoria, the son of Luis A. Rosas, Sr. and Oralia Villalobos. His father, of Del Rio, TX, survives, and his mother preceded him in death.
Also surviving are six children: son, Jesse (Jasmine Bohannan) Rosas of Princeville; daughter, Amber Rosas of Great Bend, KS; daughter, Rachel Rosas of Wichita, KS; son, William Rosas of Wichita, KS; son, Ryan Rosas of Princeville; and son, Curtis (Ana) Rosas, of Great Bend, KS; 19 grandchildren; three brothers, Luis Rosas Jr. of Princeville, Eduardo (Felicitas) Rosas of Del Rio, TX, and Reginaldo Rosas of Forney, TX; and two sisters, Veronica Frazee of Peoria and Romelia Rosas of Dallas, TX.
Jesus was a former mechanic foreman at Rainbow Trucking, LLC in Great Bend, Kansas. He enjoyed four wheeling, shooting guns, old cars and riding his Harley. He especially loved spending time with his family.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Princeville. Father Martin Mwongyera will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery in Princeville. A visitation will be on Wednesday, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
