Jill Martin Obituary
PEORIA - Jill Thomas Martin, 52, of Peoria passed away at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at her residence.
Jill was born on June 28, 1960, in Peoria to Grace Ladd Thomas and Gary Thomas. She married Steven E. Martin on Dec. 19, 1985, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Whitfield (William) Wilson and Chelsea Martin (Daniel) Miller, both of Peoria; one son, Kyle E. Whitfield of Peoria; one granddaughter, Adriana Wilson; and three sisters, Sande (Dave) Wilson of Spring Bay, Kathi (Mike) Behrens of Peoria and Julie (Joel) Wank of Chillicothe.
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Michael Hogan.
Jill was of the Christian faith and knows Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Wright & Salmon Mortuary. Pastor Cal Rychner will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

I am so distraught that I just found out my best friend from school past away. I would have went to the funeral, I loved Jill we were so close growing up. My heart goes out to steve and the kids, and wonderful sisters.

Family of Jill, I just found out today of Jill's passing. I was a friend of hers in high school and for along time after. We loss touch about 4 years ago and it breaks my heart that it was that long ago since we had spoken! Not a lot of her friends know of her passing but I am letting them know now. She was a pleasure to be around and I loved her.Please know that she was a bright women and was well liked. Jill you can rest now! LOVE YOU.

I am so sorry about your loss. Jill was an old friend, we hadn't talked in years but i remember her with such great memories. Her fun personality and beautiful smile lit up the room!! We shared a lot of fun times that I will always remember. RIP Jill......

So sorry to hear of Jill's passing. My family lived 3 houses away and we were childhood friends. I have lots of fun and crazy memories of Jill. We had not talked for years but we always knew we would always be friends. Rest in peace love you!!

Sorry to hear of your loss. I was Jill's cheerleading coach when she was in grade school and she brought so much fun to me and the others during those years. She has a wonderful giggle that I remember vividly.
