Lois Sampson Obituary
WASHINGTON - Lois K. Sampson, 95, of Peoria, formerly of Washington, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018, at John C. Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria.
She was born on August 17, 1923, in Evanston, IL, the daughter of Russell and Josephine Gage Sampson.
Surviving Lois are many close friends.
Lois was a teacher for District 150 in Peoria, where she taught art and art history for 29 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Pastor Dan Doty will officiate.
Memorials in her name may be given to the Washington Fire Department.
