Matthew Kinman Obituary
PEORIA - Matthew Scott Kinman, 40, of Peoria passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at his home in Peoria.
Matt was born to Judy Kinman on Feb. 14, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He is survived by his mother, Judy, of Peoria; his girlfriend, Jessica Mabee, and their two sons, Tyler and Ethan Kinman, all of Chillicothe; another son, Trace Errion of Peoria; his aunt, Becky Brooks of Peoria; and several cousins.
A funeral service for Matt will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave., Peoria. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Matt may be made to his mother, Judy Kinman, to be placed into an educational fund for his children.

I got to know Matt, or "Doogie", through my brother in law. He was a great guy who lived life and was fun to be around, we were neighbors for a while, He was always there to help, when I had some storm damage he hopped up on my roof like a cat and assessed the damage. The next day he had repaired it. When I asked him what I owed him, he smiled and said don't worry about it, buy me a beer sometime... That kind of sums up the kind of guy he was, he will be missed.
